St Paul’s senior boys rugby team opened their 2A league campaign with a hard fought 26-24 win v Pres Carlow.They went in 14–5 down at half time after a Jake Hurley try kept them in touch. Pres scores at the start of the second half to leave them 19-5 up. The St Paul’s boys dig deep and three converted tries by Killian James, Benas Slekys and Darragh Murphy put them in front 26-19. Pres Carlow scored a late try out wide but the conversion was missed and the St Paul’s team held on for a great win.
